Free Online Course on Climate Change

Good news for people who want to learn more about Climate Change! UC Davis Plant Sciences Professor Arnold J. Bloom is holding a free online course on climate change, discussing its causes, consequences, and potential solutions to the problem. There will be daily video mini-lectures, quizzes, and assignments.

Habitat Restoration at Dry Creek

December 9th (Sun), 9:30 am - 12 pm
The environment needs you! Come join fellow community volunteers to plant native shrubs and grasses along Dry Creek! The project will protect water quality and provide food and shelter to wildlife.

Volunteers will meet at Rotary Park in Winters, CA, on the corner of Railroad Ave and Main Street, and will carpool to the project site from there.
