This is the first month where your Green Points will show up if your odometer entries show you’ve been driving less than average – and they will be HUGE if you racked up those cycling miles in May! Announcing this week’s raffle prize winner! Congratulations to Andy for hanging in there every month, and racking up those points! The prize is a LED bulb that recently won the U.S. Department of Energy "L-Prize" for energy efficiency. Valued at $50, this bulb uses only 10 watts, but has the brightness output of a 60 watt incandescent. It’s dimmable, produces soft white light, and is rated to last 27.4 years.We will continue to announce our weekly winners in this bi-weekly newsletter and via our Cool Sacramento page on Facebook (see below), so keep reducing your monthly energy and vehicles miles to earn points and increase your chances of winning! |

June 14 is our next Challenge Sign-Up and Info Night-- This is a fun event designed to get you up to speed and answer your questions about all things CoolCalifornia Challenge, whether you’re new or already participating. Attendees should bring their SMUD and PG&E bills for March through June, and vehicle license plate and odometer readings for all household vehicles. Come out Thursday the 14th any time between 6:30-8:30 to the Sierra 2 Center (2791 24th Street). Refreshments provided! |
