The Games Have Begun! Challenge participants are recording their energy usage and odometer data and every point you earn helps your city! Together we’ve earned a total of over 180,000 points across all CoolCalifornia Challenge cities in just the first 2 weeks of the competition. WOW!

Sacramento Update

	Congratulations to our first weekly raffle prize winner! Way to go Alyssa for hanging in there and racking up those points! Alyssa won a Kill-A-Watt meter, an innovative gadget that can save you $100’s on your electric bills by monitoring how much electricity your appliances use. We will be announcing our weekly winner each week in this newsletter, so keep logging your monthly energy & vehicle data for a chance to earn more points and increase your chances of winning!

	It’s time to start earning points for transportation Did you know you can now enter your household vehicles and odometer readings for May? We recommend that you enter vehicle odometer readings once per month. You’ll earn points for May once you complete your June odometer entry.

	Having trouble reporting your data? Or just want to connect with the Cool Sacramento team? Come to our Challenge Sign-up Night on Tuesday, May 22 at the Hart Senior Center, 6:00-8:00pm. Be sure to bring your SMUD & PG&E bills, license plate numbers and odometer readings for all vehicles in your household!
