The Cool Davis Initiative is a network of Davis residents, community organizations and businesses committed to implementing the City of Davis’ Climate Action and Adaptation Plan. Our mission is to inspire our community to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, adapt to a changing climate, and improve the quality of life for all! By 2015 we seek to engage 75% of Davis households in significant (15%) greenhouse gas reductions. The Cool California Challenge is one of the ways households can start on the path to significantly changing their carbon footprint.
