iCommute and Chula Vista

Individuals and Businesses are encouraged to participate in iCommute Bike to Work 2012. The City Of Chula Vista is competing in the iCommute Bike to Work 2012 Corporate Challenge. Throughout the month of May, the City will compete against other companies and organizations in San Diego County, encouraging staff to bike to work.

Participating businesses will receive a point for every eligible bike commute trip a team member logs in the iCommute TripTracker system. The employer with the highest score wins! When you commute by bike on May 18, 2012, Bike to Work Day, your ride will earn double points! Plus, you can stop by a pit stop, and pick up a free t-shirt and refreshments!
You can develop a team for your business or sign up as an individual with iCommute Bike to Work 2012. It's easy to get rolling for Bike to Work month!

Grab your bike and rally to ride at Tune-Up Time in Balboa Park on Saturday, May 12 from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m where you can get a free bike maintenance check and freebies from event sponsors. This family-friendly event includes bike education classes and a kid's bike rodeo. And, check out the helpful resources on iCommute — the San Diego Regional Bike Map, bike safety and security guidelines, and how to take your bike on public transportation.
